Overview of the Secret
November 8, 2006
What I’m going to share through this blog is advise, guidance and tools that will transform your life as a sales professional.
This blog is dedicated to those of us who have made a conscience decision to make sales our profession. This reminds me if a funny story. At one point in my career I was in a sales leadership position for Ernst & Young. This was at a time, back in the late 90’s when the firm was just getting serious about improving their ability to sell their services and they started hiring experienced sales professionals to help build a stronger sales culture. That in of itself is a topic that I’ll go into later but what was funny is that they referred to all of the people repsonsilble for delivering billable services (consultants, accountants, etc) as “professional staff”. I always wondered if that made me “un-professional staff”.
Anyway, I’ve been in sales, sales management, sales training and senior sales leadership for the past 21 years. That’s what I do and in those 21 years I have always been in search of the keys to the kingdom as it relates to acieveing breakthrough sales performance. I think I’ve done pretty well in that I’ve made over $250,000 for the last 7 years and have learned what it takes to consistenly succeed in sales.
I will guarantee that if you follow the philiosophy that I’ve learned over the years that you too will significantly improve your sales performance.
We will begin the journey on my next blog. In the interim I want to make sure that is actually helping someone so if this is something you’d like to hear more about, please let me know.
Have a great day.

Sounds like a great idea, don’t be discouraged by little trafic at first. If you have solid content than you’ll do fine, and right now it looks like your experienced in this field so that should work itself out.

Only after reading through the middle of your writing did I find it ‘catchy’ or interesting. Although I am more of a service person, a target towards the beginner sales audience might increase my interest.
